Terms and Conditions

 At BlueBelle Flowers we want to ensure that we give the best service available to our customers. Our Terms and Conditions cover all aspects to avoid any disputes.  Please email us at kristy@bluebelleflowers.co.uk for any queries regarding our terms and conditions.  

 WEDDING FLOWERS 

A maximum of 2 free consultations will be provided prior to making a booking for your wedding flowers, these can be telephone, online or in person consultations. One of the consultations may take place at the wedding venue, should you or we request so.  Additional consultations will be charged at an hourly rate of £15 until your booking and deposit are received. 

QUOTES AND ESTIMATIONS:  A quote for the cost of your wedding flowers will be sent out to you soon after your initial consultation. This is a guide price and will be subject to change to account for any amendments you make nearer to the wedding day and reflect the market cost of the flowers at the time of ordering. A detailed consultation will take place 6 weeks before the wedding to finalise all requirements. 

DEPOSIT: When a wedding date is booked we charge a £100 deposit. This saves the date. If, for any reason you decide to cancel your wedding this deposit is non-refundable. If you decide to postpone your wedding we will hold your deposit until your wedding goes ahead. The £100 deposit is subtracted from your final wedding invoice. Payment of deposit is an acknowledgement of our Terms and Conditions. 

PAYMENT: The final invoice for your wedding flowers will be issued to you after your detailed consultation. The final payment must be paid in full 30 days before the wedding. BlueBelle Flowers reserves the right to cancel any wedding flowers, if payment is not made by this date. We are not obliged to offer any compensation for inconvenience caused.  Upon receipt of the final invoice for payment we will ask you to check this carefully, sign and return one copy to us as confirmation that the details are correct. 

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: If after your final payment has been received you choose to reduce the total cost of the flower order you will only be refunded 50% of the cancelled items. As we will be unlikely to take a booking of value so close to an event date and may have turned work away due to the original intended workload. 

In the extreme and unlikely circumstance that we need to cancel your booking, or are unable to fulfil your order due to illness, injury, accident or any other circumstance, we will do our best to employ a freelance florist to complete the order to our agreed prices. If this is not possible, we will inform you in writing and refund to you any amounts you have paid to us. 

DELIVERY AND SET UP: Where ‘set up’ and ‘take down’ at the venue is required, this will be charged at an agreed rate per hour. Liability insurances and risk assessments are available at your venues request.  

Removal of all flowers from the venue is your responsibility unless previously arranged and included in your quote. 

HIRED ITEMS: Any hire items belonging to BlueBelle Flowers will be collected from the venue by us, by agreement with yourself and the venue owners, usually the morning after the wedding day. If you wish to keep any of the floral arrangements/flowers where BlueBelle Flowers hire items have been used, please remove them before collection is due. 

Should any hired items be lost, damaged or stolen it is the responsibility of the hirer to pay for the replacement retail cost of any of those items.   

PHOTOGRAPHS: BlueBelle Flowers reserves the right to take photographs of flowers and the setting prior to the wedding which may be used for promotional purposes.  We may seek your permission to include professional photographs taken at the event for display on our marketing material, your consent will be sought for publication. 

FUNERAL FLOWERS: 

A maximum of 2 free consultations will be provided prior to making a booking for your funeral flowers, these can be telephone, online or in person consultations.  Additional consultations will be charged at an hourly rate of £15 until your booking and deposit are received. 

QUOTATION:  BlueBelle Flowers will issue a written quote of the cost of the requested funeral flowers. 

PAYMENT:  Payment in full is required 2 days before the funeral.  BlueBelle Flowers reserves the right to cancel the order if payment is not received. 

DELIVERY:  Funeral flowers will be delivered direct to the funeral director the day before, or the morning of the funeral event.  Where floral arrangements have been ordered for installation at a venue, BlueBelle Flowers will arrange for delivery or set up at requested locations in consultation with you.

ADDITIONAL TERMS: 

SUBSTITUTION ITEMS: Fresh flowers are a living product and are dependent on weather conditions, stringent quality checks, and influences beyond our control. On occasion we may have to substitute a specific flower or foliage. If this happens we reserve the right to source a similar flower/foliage, and we hope that you trust our judgement to make any necessary substitutions and know that it is in your best interests for us to do so. 

YOUR DATA: All your personal details are treated as confidential information and will not be disclosed under any circumstances to other parties, without your written permission.  When you place an order with us or make an online enquiry we gather certain information, including an address and contact details. We will not sell, lend or disclose your information to any third party other than for the dispatch of your order. 

BlueBelle Flowers reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without notice.  Terms and Conditions published on this website will always be the latest version and will override any prior Terms and Conditions provided in any other form.
